Australia legend Mike Hussey is thrilled for former teammate Matthew Wade as the veteran prepares to play his first T20I in more than three years.
The 32-year-old last played for his nation in the shortest format in September 2016, but is expected to take a middle-order spot during three matches against South Africa, starting Saturday.
Having filled a similar role during his playing career, Hussey has a soft spot for his fellow left-hander who is back in Australia’s squad in all formats.
