Man on holiday cruise before heading to dinner jumps into Brisbane River to perform rescue

 A man on the first day of his holiday jumped into the Brisbane River to save a young person in distress on Saturday evening.

Cardboard manufacturer John Gee was on a river cruise with some friends ahead of a dinner reservation when a woman was spotted in the water.
